How easy is to install an Aprile handle?

Door Handle Installation Video

The set includes:
– a pair of handles – left and right; combined with roses;
– 2 pcs. of mounting roses (so-called mounting adapters);
– handle stem 8×8 mm (two-part);
– 2 pcs. of through bolts M4;
– a set of Allen screws and spanners.

Handle installation:
1. Drill 2 Ø 7 mm holes on both sides of the door with 38 mm spacing for through bolts. Do not drill through the door on one side. Ream the holes on both sides to avoid damaging the outer layer of the door. You can either use a mounting template to mark the holes or use a mounting adapter with a stabilising pin. After preparing the screw holes, break out the stem stabiliser from the adapters.
2. Use the supplied bolts and screw the two mounting adapters together. These elements shall be oriented with the safety notch downwards.
3. You can additionally stabilise the mounting adapters with wood screws. Screws are not included.
4. Fold the pin and insert it into the door lock with the notch facing downwards so that the length of the pin is the same on both sides of the door.
5. Place the handle on the adapter and pin thus installed. The handle shall be flush with the door.
6. Screw the handle rose from below to the adapter. Fasten the handles from below with Allen screws.

The set includes:
– 2 pcs. rosette covers;
– 2 pcs. of mounting roses (so-called mounting adapters);
– 2 pcs. of through bolts M4;
– a set of Allen screws and spanners;

Handle installation:
1. Drill 2 Ø 7 mm holes on both sides of the door with 38 mm spacing for through bolts. Do not drill through the door on one side. Ream the holes on both sides to avoid damaging the outer layer of the door. After preparing the screw holes, break out the stem stabiliser from the adapters.
2. Use the supplied bolts and screw the two mounting adapters together. These elements shall be oriented with the safety notch downwards. The adapters are universal (right/left).
3. You can additionally stabilise the mounting adapters with wood screws. Screws are not included.
4. Place the rose on the mounted adapter and fasten it from below with an Allen screw. The rose should sit flush against the door.

The set includes:

– 2 pcs. of through bolts M4;
– a set of Allen screws and spanners
– WC knob with handle stem 4×4 mm (it is possible to order an additional reduction).

Handle installation:
1. Drill 2 Ø 7 mm holes on both sides of the door with 38 mm spacing for through bolts. Do not drill through the door on one side. Ream the holes on both sides to avoid damaging the outer layer of the door. After preparing the screw holes, break out the stem stabiliser from the adapters.
2. Use the supplied bolts and screw the two mounting adapters together. These elements shall be oriented with the safety notch downwards.
3. You can additionally stabilise the mounting adapters with wood screws.
4. Slide the stem into the door lock. For magnetic locks, use a reduction to change the diameter of the hole for the W.C. stem.
5. Place the rose over the mounted adapter and stem thus installed and fasten it from below with an Allen screw. The rose should fit flush with the door.
6. Screw the knob of the W.C. rose to the stem with the Allen screw.
