How easy is to install an Aprile handle?

Door Handle Installation Video

The set includes:
– A pair of handles – left and right; combined with rosettes;
– 2 pieces of mounting rosettes (metal mounting adapters);
– A handle spindle with a cross-section of 8×8 mm (two-part);
– 2 pieces of M4 pass-through screws;
– Set of allen screws along with keys.

Handle installation:
1. Drill two holes with a diameter of 7 mm for the pass-through screws on both sides of the door, spaced 38 mm apart. Do not drill all the way through the door from one side. Drill the holes from both sides to avoid damaging the outer layer of the door.
You can use the mounting adapter equipped with a spindle stabilizing element to mark the hole positions. After preparing the holes for the screws, remove the spindle stabilizing element from the adapters.
2. Use the provided pass-through screws to secure the two mounting adapters together. These components should be oriented with the securing cut downward. The adapters are universal (right/left).
3. Additionally, you can stabilize the mounting adapters with wood screws. Screws are not included in the kit.
4. Fold the spindle and insert it into the door lock with the downward notch, ensuring that the length of the spindle is the same on both sides of the door.
5. Place the handle onto the adapter and spindle as installed. The handle should fit perfectly against the door surface.
6. Screw the rosette of the handle from underneath onto the adapter. Secure the handles from underneath using the allen screws.
